Lesnrrs Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Good morning, I am trying to create a new dimension style and I am unable to change the "Extend beyond ticks" under the Line tab under New Dimension Style . This field is not active and I am not sure why. Any suggestions on what I need to do to in order to set the measurement? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks! :0) Quote
Tankman Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Never used 2010, DIMSTYLE? Or, PROPERTIES? Both work in '05 and '07, the two versions of AutoCAD I currently use. Quote
Dana W Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 That field is grayed out unless you use a "symbols and arrows" that is supposed to do that, like the Architectural tick, or oblique. The point of using an arrowhead is that the point points to the point. Architects are all about style, so some 'controlled slop' is ok with them. Quote
