mcjohn Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 How can I turn off annotative text used in the profile views and the contour labels created in civil 3d 2010? I have layouts set to different scales to plot different parts of the drawing (plan view, profile view, etc.) and I'd prefer to not have the text size change when I switch from model space to paper. Dana W Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 Go to dimension style > Fit tab. Uncheck annotative and set the scaling to 1.000. Quote
mcjohn Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 The annotative box is greyed out. There must be a way to have text in model space not scale (on its own) in a viewport. If text isn't annotative that is how it works usually. And civil 3d won't let me add the profile view as an additional annotation to the rest of the drawing in model space. This is extremely annoying! Quote
mcjohn Posted June 18, 2010 Author Posted June 18, 2010 Autocad (non civil 3d) text can normally be changed from annotative on/off but I can't find options for civil 3d objects. Quote
