Ollie8974 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Send them as a PDF file. The PDF file can not be changed. Quote
dac123 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 you could try changing the file attribute with explorer to Read Only but they may know how to un-ticket. or print PDF's or DWF's Quote

Cad64 Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 If the contract says you have to provide CAD files, then you have to provide CAD files. You agreed to this. I don't think they will be very happy if you lock the drawings. Just provide a disclaimer with your files. See here: http://www.augi.com/publications/hotnews.asp?page=1049 Quote

dbroada Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 That drawing will only load if you enable macros, which means you are allowing code to interupt the AutoCAD processes which is potentially very harmful. Obviously you have your reasons for not trusting your paymasters but if I contracted somebody to do a drawing for me and they supplied that they would never get work from me again - and I would do my best to make sure they never got paid for that in the first place. As Cad64 said, if you signed a contract to supply dwg files, that is what they have paid for and what they expect in return. Quote
