Cad64 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Command: REGEN You might also want to increase the value of VIEWRES Quote
elisabeth90 Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Hmm, its hard to explain but i have to cut the corners to radius 100 Quote
Cad64 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Ok, that's completely different from what you said in your first post, where you said you need to smooth the edges. Now you say you need to cut the corners? I think you need to use the FILLET command, but again, I'm just guessing because I really don't understand what you're trying to do? Quote
elisabeth90 Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Or rounded corners to radius 100 is probably more correctly Quote
elisabeth90 Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 hehe, yeah don't know what it is in englsih any norwegians here? i have tryed using fillet but it doesn`t work :S Quote
rvpas Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Hi elisabeth90, You have to change fillet radius Command: f FILLET Current settings: Mode = TRIM, Radius = 0.0000 Select first object or [undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]: r (to change radius) Specify fillet radius : 100 Select first object or [undo/Polyline/Radius/Trim/Multiple]: Select second object or shift-select to apply corner: enter Bye Pascal Quote
Cad64 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 i have tryed using fillet but it doesn`t work :S What do you mean it doesn't work? What happens when you try to Fillet? Autocad should give you a message at the command line if the command fails. Quote
Tankman Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Increase VIEWRES and safe. Works for me everytime. Tools > Options > increase your display resolution. Quote
