lauraengdept Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 I have a couple of questions for students, too. 1) What are the most useful learning tools for you and why? 2) What are the biggest challenges right now in learning about engineering/CAD software? Quote
shift1313 Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Hi laura, ive only taken one CAD class and it wasn't purely CAD, there was history involved as well as a large portion of design work outside of the software. Unfortunately the drawing part of the class consisted of going through built in tutorials. The person answering questions regarding issues wasn't well versed in the software. I would say the most useful tool would be having someone well versed in the software you are teaching so any questions can be answered properly. The only way I really learned the software we used was to have a copy at home and play with it. Quote
