mcjohn Posted June 22, 2010 Posted June 22, 2010 In autocad civil 3D 2010 how I can change contour labels and other label objects like on a profile view to not be annotative. They seem to be annotative by default and don't act like autocad text and mtext that can have annotation turned off in properties. Quote
BIGAL Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Its all buried deeply in the "Styles" it can be complex getting it just right. You need to go to Tool space settings and this gives acces to the styles which you can edit. I would copy first its easy to delete but hard to get back to where you were. All the text controls are in the style and they are not Text rather proxy objects. It took us a while to get it right. Ask for help here its possible to copy styles from one drawing to another. Ours are in our template.dwt What system are you using metric or feet. Quote
mcjohn Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Metric. I have tried the surface contour label group and editing the surface control label-existing major labels. Then in general tab there is a way to change style but I can only see how that changes a text style but not providing any option for annotation on/off. Do you know how this is done or are you suggesting you might provide your template (which would be great!)? If I type style in autocad command it shows that annotation is turned off for say the standard text so it's really confusing. Quote
