cadman6735 Posted June 25, 2010 Author Posted June 25, 2010 Apologies if I am not explaining these items very well Jammie you explained it very well. I will put the (if)statment back in and add the (princ "\nNo object selected"). Thanks for explaining it to me. I copied your altered code but was unable to see any difference probably my fault, for sure. But I do see where you are going with it and this is a feature I do want. Funny enough, I am starting to see what Lee Mac is talking about, where using commands can get messy. When I undo the vertex it only steps back one command inside the code not the entire code for vertex. Meaning that when I undo I don't get the full polly element back I get two broken lines, seperate elements. I have to undo several time to get back to the beginning Goes to show you can advise anyone with anything but sometime a person can't see the meaning until they stumble upon it themself. I have learned a lot from this post, Thanks to everybody. Quote
jammie Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 I copied your altered code but was unable to see any difference Apologies, I have updated the last code, there was a slight bug in it I have to undo several time to get back to the beginning You are able to set a start and end mark for using the UNDO. This means that multiple commands between the start & end marker are undone at the one time I have also added this to the previous code a person can't see the meaning until they stumble upon it themself. Too true, its a great way of learning Regards Jammie Quote
