Bobzy20 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Does anybody know how I would get the Extruded Red circles (holes) in the 1st image below to look like the holes in the 2nd image below? I’m drawing the wheel in AutoCAD from a tutorial which has been drawn in SolidWorks. The small Extruded hole in the middle will go right through the wheel but the larger Extruded hole only needs to be Extruded until it hits the wheel surface (as per 2nd image). Help would be great. Thanks Bobzy20 Quote
MSasu Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Draw half of the hole longitudinal section and revolve it around axis, place it in appropriate pozition on wheel and after subtract it from wheel. Done. Regards, Quote
kencaz Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Presspull will extrude and cut in one operation. KC Quote

kencaz Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hi thanks for the replies although I still can't do it. Bobzy20 Draw your profiles, (in green), then press pull the larger hole for the counterbore then the smaller straight through for the hole... KC Quote
Bobzy20 Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 I think I have done it now. Thanks very much Bob Quote
