Cholomanchuten Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I want to run a script at startup. My script is in the Desktop folder, named as PATOFELIZ.scr AutoCad help is pretty useless in this point. From what i did understand, you should create a shortcut and after the "acad.exe" direction, type /b PATOFELIZ.scr. So, i create a desktop shortcut with the following code: "C:\Archivos de programa\AutoCAD 2008\acad.exe" \b PATOFELIZ.scr (Archivos de programa is Program Files for us, argentinos') But how does Cad know that the script is IN THE DESKTOP?. Actually, it doesn't because it doesn't find it when i open Cad. Is there a special place where i have to put my scr for cad to find it through the /b code? Quote
MSasu Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Just add the path of your Desktop in AutoCAD's Support Files Search Paths list; in Options --> Files. This way AutoCAD will be able to find it. Regards, Quote
Cholomanchuten Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 still doesn't find it. The file PATOFELIZ.scr is in the desktop. The Support Files Search has the direction of my desktop, and the code is: "C:\Archivos de programa\AutoCAD 2008\acad.exe" \b 4000D.scr And autocad doesn't find it. Are you sure that Support Files Search Paths is the list that holds the paths for the scripts? Quote
Cholomanchuten Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Sorry! Found the error! ITS /b, not \b.............................. Anyway, your tip was crucial for it to work. Thanks. Quote
