MikeP Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 why does it apply the plot style to my title block in the paper space, but the view port does not seem to get applied? Quote
Dana W Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 why does it apply the plot style to my title block in the paper space, but the view port does not seem to get applied? You mean to the viewport frame itself, or the modelspace in the viewport? Do you have 'Display Plot Styles" checked? Quote
Dana W Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 the model space in the vieport Have you tried the command regenall? Most of the time the paperspace view will not change or partially change, until you regen all, and sometimes I have had it not change even then, until I close the tab and reopen it. Quote
rkent Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Are you not getting the colors you expect? Or are you not getting the expected lineweights? In other words tell us what you are expecting and what you are getting. Quote
Dana W Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 didnt work And what type of plot style, screening, mono, color? Did you "Print Object Lineweights"? Did you "Scale Lineweights"? What does the preview look like? Do you have "Display plotstyles" checked? Can you attach the drawing so we can check it? Quote
MikeP Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 its a custom plot style. it should be printing in black and white at the line wieghts i want. it works fine in model space Quote
MikeP Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 I made a drawing with colored lines. when I plot from model space it plots correctly in black and white using my custom plot style, then when i go into paper space and try to plot that view port using the same plot style, it plots as if my plot style is set to none. Guest Chris_K Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Did you setup the page manger on your paper view tab to use your custom plot style? You can setup your model view and paper view independently by accident sometimes. Quote
MikeP Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 nope figured it out apparently you have to be in wireframe mode for it plot correctly Quote
