You should have posted your question in the Inventor forum, not the AutoCAD forum.

http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32

You import an AutoCAD solid into Inventor by going to Open, select the filename and then Options and set to Import. It will be a solid in Inventor if Options set to Import.

For analysis you need to go through the built it tutorials and

http://www.amazon.com/Running-Autodesk-Inventor-Simulation-Step/dp/1856176940/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1278241709&sr=1-7

and

http://store.autodesk.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=adsk&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=105089300

and sign up for a class.

There are additional analysis classes here http://au.autodesk.com
