nikhil Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 hi JD...im having trouble with the surface finish of my design, whenever i finish editing the surface and move the mouse,it starts appearing blurred, the edges look blurred...i am attaching the file here....pls help me out..i am really not getting it..... also i am not able to cut similar pattern boxes in the bottom part of this box...i am attaching the file showing the portion where i am not able to cut.i am using the normal method of cutting it...but still i am getting the error "no consumed part on the sketches"......pls help me out assembly.zip Quote
JD Mather Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 but still i am getting the error "no consumed part on the sketches"......pls help me out Are you sure the error isn't "no unconsumed sketches"? I don't see any sketches. The file you attached is an assembly with no parts? How can you have an assembly with no ipt files? The file you attached is worthless to anyone trying to solve your problem. An iam file is simply a list of hyperlinks and record of location of part files. There is nothing (solids) in an assembly file. The solids are the ipt files. Quote
nikhil Posted July 16, 2010 Author Posted July 16, 2010 ya i get the same error....but its solved now..realized my mistake,i was not selecting the part properly n trying to sketch on it....it has two parts one is the bottom portion and the other one is the back portion with the circle n a rectangle cut....anyways thanks again for replying..... i do require help in assembly file as how to use them and how to make proper links...i hope u can help me any idea about why the parts are coming up in blurred form and not the smooth finish Quote
JD Mather Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 other one is the back portion with the circle cut.... any idea about why the parts are coming up in blurred form and not the smooth finish Circle cut looks like disjointed solids hanging in space? Graphics card/driver? Quote
