khoshravan Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 After selection objects by drawing a windows around object, I want to deselect some objects. Is this possible? Quote
NBC Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Yes, hold down the SHIFT key, and select as you would normally. Quote

Patrick Hughes Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 Another option is to type "R" while in the selection process. This puts the selection into the "Remove" mode and everything you select at that point (no need for holding shift) will be removed from the selection. This works for most commands but I've found that the stretch command is a little more sensitive about deselecting things. Quote

Neat. Quote

gsksun4 Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 What is "A" stands for?Do you mean after removing objects, Should type "A" and continue? No, R stands for "remove objects" and A stands for "add objects". Sort of like a toggle in the command. Say you used R and picked an object by mistake, you would just type A to pick it and it would not be highlighted for removal. You don't have to type A at all if you know what you're picking. Quote
