nrschmid Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I work as a planner/designer and have 5 years of experience in AutoCAD. I work for an engineering company and want to learn more about Microstation to help with engineers redlining projects. What resources can you recommend? I would prefer resources targeted to those who already know alot about CAD who are transferring over to Microstation. I will be working with Microstation XM and V8 primarily. Thanks- Quote
dtaylor Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I've hear that the "Inside Microstation" books aren't good at all and aren't updated very well. The "Harnessing Microstation" books seem to have decent reviews although I've never used them. This will get you started, its bentley help documents, if you want to look up some stuff. you can even download it http://docs.bentley.com/product.php?prod=1& Quote
dtaylor Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/user/captnwill#p/u may be a bit too basic for you, but look through them all. They are made by an old professor of mine. Quote
caddcop Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 MicroStation for AutoCAD users - get the newest version, its very different than previous editions, which I liked, but this version is actually better. Quote
