fjaniswilshire-homes
I have drawing that are labeling the lines at feet. It takes the nearest inches and rounds it off to the even number that is next. Example 10'-9" equals 12'. I want to learn how to take those amounts and put them in a table that will have the quantity also. I have tried "eattext" to count the blocks but I need to count the line and how many there are. Puttting them into blocks will be more steps and that's what I am trying to avoid. Example 2x12 at 16' - 45 of them counted so there are 45 2x12's at 16'. Any ideals?
ReMark
I'm sure if you look around you'll find a custom lisp routine that will do exactly what you want. Check out CT's AutoLISP related forums.
