udo Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 hi, i am using autocad 2010 or at least i am learning to use it. i cannot get the menu bar to stay on. whenever i press the drop down menu (customise quick access toolbar) in order to tick the show menu bar - the menu bar shows for a fraction of a second and then disappears again. i have been told to reinstall autocad which i have done twice and then for the first few times it seems to work - but soon the menu bar disappears again. is it something i do? this is very frustrating, can anyone help please? cheers - udo Quote

udo Posted July 24, 2010 Author Posted July 24, 2010 thanks for you help, but it only comes up briefly. when i type menubar enter, the command line is " Enter new value for MENUBAR : and when i type 1 enter the menu bar shows briefly and the command line reads "No menus are defined" Quote
ReMark Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 First try the MENULOAD command. At the command line type MENULOAD. When the window comes up ACAD should be one of the choices to load. Quote
