Cad64 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Inventor System Requirements: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=13727144 Solidworks System Requirements: http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html You will need a 64 bit operating system in order to use more than 4GB RAM. ReMark Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 (edited) I also suggest you consider moving to Windows 7 64-bit. The Pro version would be best. 8GB of RAM would be very useful to system performance. Edited July 25, 2010 by ReMark removed ref to integrated graphics chip Quote
