3D Lines to Splines

Hi.

I use autocad 2009 to design 3D timber handrail all being curly with volutes, transitions etc.

The problem im having is that i start by projecting lines up from a 2D plan and joining the tops of the lines with lines. I then fillit the lines where i need to make bends. I then want to be able to turn all of these 3D lines and arcs in to a single spline but i carnt work out how!! PEdit dont work to try and spline them.

Any help would be great

You might try a modern 3D CAD program like Autodesk Inventor.
