How to change colors on a part drawn?

Recommended Posts

I have drawn this part and I am lost on how to change the color of the part. Can anyone help me do this. I have posted a picture of my part. Also if anyone might know how to female thread the ends rather than male threads as they are.

Thank you

Change Part color:

Right click >> Properties

You can't put internal threads on an extruded solid. You need to drill a hole first.

You can change color by part, by feature or by face. Right click everything in Inventor.

I could not open your *.doc (why doc for pictures? and why pictures for CAD, we spend all of this time learning to communicate with Geometry, let's communicate with Geometry - zip and attach your ipt file here. You can zip a file by right clicking on the file name in Windows Explorer and selecting Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.)

Having not seen the doc I'm guessing that you want to select the threaded option in the Hole dialog box.
