Hi,

I have a query. How to hide the units value in the Table > Part List > Column > QTY.

I have an assembly created using Frame Generator and when I invoke Table > Part List on .idw, there is a unit value reflected on the QTY. column in which I do not want. How to hide it.

I have already figured this one out... :D

Just un-check the units string of the Format Column.

Whilst on the topic of parts lists, does anyone know how to scale down the parts list within a drawing leaving the rest of the drawing at its initial scale? also how is an exploded view created.

New job, new software ahhhh lol!

thanks

There is really no easy way to "Scale Down" your parts list. Your best bet is to go into the Styles Editor and set up your Parts List to cater your needs. Just remember that you will also need to modify your text size in the Editor to fit your list. You can access the Styles Editor by right clicking on your parts list and selecting Edit Parts List Style. If it's an issue of having too little room on your drawing, maybe a larger Sheet Size would help as well.

To make an exploded view, open your assembly in a new presentation file and then Tweak your components as needed. You can then open the exploded components in your drawing, and alter the views however you need.
