MR MAN Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Is There Any One Know How Etransmit Work I Mean Is It Give Commands To Autocad Like (-xr) (bind) (*) For Bind Xrefs Or What? I Want To Know How It Make Files Binded Like Publish All In One Time? Quote
Tiger Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 E-transmit doesn't bind your x-refs. It collects together everything that the particular drawing requires to function properly - all x-refs, CTb-files, font-files, pc3-files and so on - and makes a zip-file of it. Very handy for sending to clients for example. Quote
MR MAN Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 i don't understand then what that mean (see attachment) etransmit.zip Quote
Tiger Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Well, I'd interpret that as you can bind you external references when e-transmitting if you want to. I don't use e-transmit much, but I do believe the point is that you don't have to bind external reference, they are bundled up in the package. Quote
Cad64 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Yes, you do have the option to bind your Xrefs during the Etransmit process, but like Tiger said, what's the point? The beauty of the Etransmit command is that you don't have to bind your external files. But, the option is there if you want it. Quote
