Hi everyone,

I'm pretty new when it comes to rendering, so I'm still toying around with lighting styles and textures and the like. I've since drawn a pack of .308 bullets sitting in their plastic case. When I go and try to render it, it comes out all white. I've tried going in and decreasing the brightness all the way, the contrast, and I've even gotten rid of the light source, but it's still white.

My computer specs are as follows:

AMD Phenom II x4 965 running at 3.4gHz (stock speed)

4gigs of RAM

NVidia GTX 465 1gig

Here is a picture of the white render:

And here is a picture of what it looks like before the render:

Is this a fairly common problem? Easy fix? I'd appreciate any and all input or advice to help get this drawing looking normal :)

Thanks.

Can you post a screenshot of your render settings?

It might also help if you could post the dwg file too.

One thing you could try is copy and paste the model into a new drawing file and see if you get the same white render.

I just copied the drawing into a new file and sure enough, it looks like it should! I've gotta tweak with the lighting settings to get it looking like I really want, but so far so good.

Thanks a lot for the help!
