cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hey, Had a wee search on this site but couldnt find anything relevant to my problem. I've got a drawing with 6 viewports. The drawing is of a barge and some boats, my problem is that when I print the drawing the ropes ie lines are not showing atoll on the printed page although they are visible on the screen. I really have no idea why they are visible on the screen but not when I print them. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! Cheers, Quote
nukecad Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Check what layer they are drawn on and wether it is set to plot or not. BTW Layer 'Defpoints' will never plot. Quote
cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Yeah its set to plot. I've just had to plot to PDF then print it that way for now. Any other suggestions? Quote
nukecad Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 Hmm. Are they a different colour from everything else and you are using a ctb that plots them as white or very light colour? Are you plotting with lineweights and their weight is set to 0? If they plotted ok to pdf then it would look like there is something in the Autocad settings you are using for the printer. Quote
rkmcswain Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 What does the plot preview look like? IOW - does the plot preview differ from the paper output? Quote
cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Okay, will have a wee tinker around with the settings, thanks for your help! Quote
cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 The lines are there on the plot preview rkmcswain Quote
cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Just tried to print it from a pdf and the same happened as before.... The lines are still not showing... Quote
cbrown89 Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 Right i've changed the colour to red and its worked, many other colours didnt effect the outcome. I originally had it set to Black 250, which should of printed no? Quote
