Need to have arrows indicating process flow across a manuf. floor

Hi:

 

I am working on a floor plan for a manufacturing area and I want to include arrows indicating the direction of flow of materials throughout and around the floor to the various pieces of equipment. Does Autocad have a library of these?

you could use the "mleader" command (enter it in the command line without the exclamation marks), and then when it gives you the option to enter some text just press Esc to cancel it and it will leave just the arrow behind (depending on how your multi-leaders are set up, if they're set to default it should draw an arrow head at the end, and not an oblique or anything!)

You could create your own Dynamic Block of a flow arrow and depending on how you have it set up the block could incorporate different directional arrows.

Or you could use a line type with the "greater than" or "less than" characters to show the direction.

 

This is good for Romans font, but for other fonts the Y dimension would have to be slightly adjusted to keep the arrow on line.
