When did the problem first occur?

How many custom tool palettes did you create?

What are your system specs?

What OS are you running?

Just started today. There are around 10 palettes.

Quad core 2.4Ghz, 4Gb RAM, Windows 7 64 bit

AutoCAD 2011 LT 64 bit

Your system is powerful enough to run full AutoCAD yet it somehow chokes on tool palettes in LT? Something is definitely wrong. Could it be a "pathing" problem? Where are these blocks stored? Are they on a network?

blocks are local. do you think it may be a 64 bit cad issue?

A 64-bit issue? In what way? I'm running full AutoCAD 2010 64-bit on a Win7 Ultimate 64-bit system with no problems what-so-ever and I do 3D as well.

What else do you have running on this system while you are running AutoCAD?

I have a quad core system as well and I can run a half-dozen programs at a time with no slow down.

I don't know, but this problem is just annoying.

Do you experience the problem when working with a brand new, relatively simple, drawing?

Are you using Xrefs?

Still very slow and quite annoying. Have even tried reinstalling. Any other suggestions.
