Jscott85 Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Hello all, I am having a problem (im sure it is simple) everytime I intend to change my view of the item I am working on, it zooms very far out and I have to zoom in again, it becomes very inconvenient, I am sure its a setting of some sort. Any advice would be welcomed. THank you! -Justin Quote
Hopinc Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 (edited) Hello Justin, I can't say that I have experienced your problem with Inventor - although I had something very similar when I tried using Inventor Fusion. What version of Inventor are you using? Are all your drivers up to date? I know that this involves spending a little money, but I have found the best, fastest and most rewarding method of viewing a 3D model is to ignore all pre-set views and use a space mouse - in my case that is a 3D Connexion "Space Navigator." http://www.3dconnexion.com/ There are two versions of this - one for education and one for retail. If you can get gold of an education version they are a lot cheaper and EXACTLY the same as the full retail version. There is one other make that springs to mind where everything is incorporated into the mouse itself, although I have never actually had one of these in my hands: http://www.lexip.fr/pro/en I would not be without my space mouse and would replace it immediately if it ever failed. Hoping this is of some use to you. Regards. Dave Edited August 18, 2010 by Hopinc Quote
