Auto Arch 2010 Component Manager

When inserting a bar joist from the component manager (2010) it defaults to a section. I need an elevation of the bar joist, can it do that? Am I overlooking something? If memory serves me I could choose either an elevation view or a section in ACAD 2007.

 

Please advise.

Select the bar joist that you would like to insert.

Upon selecting where you would like to start it, open the properties menu, under the tab for "view" select "elevation. Then follow the command line.
