DDClubley Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 In Inventor help, it says you are able to drive multiple constrains at the same time by using equations to relate the constraints. I was just wondering if anybody knew anything about this and how to do it? Thanks! Dan. Quote
shift1313 Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I believe this can be done through the parameters list. You need to setup your parameters to use for your constraints. For instance if you have a distance D0 that you are planning on driving from 1-20. If there is another distance you wish to drive you can set it to D0 or use D0 in an equation that relates the two. Example D0=1. D1 = D0+5. Do you have a specific example of components you wish to drive in this manner? Quote
kencaz Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I never drive multiple constraints in an assembly. That is what Studio is for... Much simpler. KC Quote
