How can I scale or stretch a block in one direction?

Insert it with different x-y scales

for blocks already inserted, use Properties.

Hit Ctrl+1 to display Properties (if it isn't already displayed)

select the block

edit the Scale X in Properties

Hello Ipseifert,

 

Thanks for your answer, but it works not.

 

he scales only one piece of the line and not the hole line. The line shoulde be 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 and not 1/2 - 1/4 - 1/4.

 

Hope you a solution for me.

I wonder if your block is made up of nested blocks. If you draw the item as you show in your example, and make sure "scale uniformly" is NOT checked, you should be able to edit x and y scale as Ipseifert shows. Not sure why this isn't working for you.

Give it a linear stretch dynamic attribute, that way you can type in any size you prefer.
