Hi,

I have inserted an image ( company Logo) into my drawing

" Opened image with paint, Edit , select all, copy

In CAD edit, paste Special and picked Picture (Metafile)

(so that if I email the drawing the Logo get sent as well)"

The problem is that the image fame won't go away although i have set it to zero

Any ideas how to insert logo, so it will be embedded in the drawing, or how to get rid of the frame in the Auto desk recommended way above.

Thanks

OLEFRAME

0 = Frame is not displayed and not plotted

1 = Frame is displayed and is plotted

2 = Frame is displayed but is not plotted

Do you have access to Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop? I have found the best way (for me) was to convert the image to a vector file (WMF or DXF) and import it into cad as a block...

Illustrator can do this but Photoshop cannot.

That's strange, it works for me.

If you click on the image and check it's properties, what does it say? Does it list the image as "OLE" or as "Raster Image"?

If you copy/pasted then is it an "anonymous block" reference?

Can you explode it?

Oops... Yes, that's correct. Sorry

Hi Guys and thanks for your help

This is very strange, I tried "OLEFRAME" again today, and guess what, its working.

Thank you very much guys

You also have the command IMAGEFRAME.

I guess it does the same thing as OLEFRAME. Anyone know the difference?

It depends on how the image was inserted.

OLEFRAME affects OLE objects (raster objects inserted with windows copy/paste or the INSERTOBJ command)

IMAGEFRAME affects attached raster images (by using the IMAGEATTACH command)
