kwsmith Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Hi I am a liscened and certified CAD technician right out of school, and I am in the situation of getting a Mid-sized plumbing company up-to-date on all CAD software, whether its design, estimating, or just stream lining their fabrication shop. My plan is to use Revit MEP for design and presentation purposes, CAD estimator for the estimating, and learning Navisworks so they can properly communicate with the architect and engineering firms that they will encounter on large jobs. Is this the best way to go about it, or is there a system or software that is better suited for estimating and streamling production, any help would be great. Thanks Quote
cadman6735 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Never used CAD estimator But if you set up Revit the right way, I feel it will do everything you want it to do. Quote
