kiidaka
Hey guys, i have a guy in my office who is using autocad 2007 on his work machine and trims using the marquee, but when he switches to 2005 he says you have to select each line you want to trim. Any way around this? Settings ect maybe?
ReMark
Marquee trim? Are you referring to a "fence"?
kiidaka
maybe? when you trim by clicking and making a box as you drag it out and then click again and it trims all the lines touching that box? how do make that work in 2005? if it is possible
ReMark
It sounds like you are describing the Crossing option not the Fence option. Options such as Fence, Crossing, etc. become available after pressing the Enter key and you're prompted to Select objects or : at which point AutoCAD also displays the following... Select object to trim or shift-select to extend or [Fence/Crossing/Project/Edge/eRase/Undo]: I don't know if the Crossing option is available in 2005. Check your Help file.
