Location marker

Hello,

 

I am currently working on a large structural project that has multiple match lines.

 

I am doing an overall layout of the project and somehow dimension to various corners of the building to help locate and tie everything together.

 

The question I have is, is there a symbol that I can use to help show these locations. I started to use a target symbol, but am afraid that would be confusing.

 

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have seen people put clouds around the locations they want to high light

Clouds are used for revisions, so that would not be a good idea in my opinion - unless this is a revision ofcourse.

 

I would work with size and bold-ness of text and circles - and colors if you distribute these plans in color. Stuff that needs to be there but not "In your face" can be set to a pale grey so that the rest stands out more. And if there is text that is really important, try it out with a background mask (availible from the Properties-box with Mtext).

Thanks for the responces. I don't really want to use revision clouds.

 

Putting everything to a pale grey except the important info may be the way to go.
