Big G Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Can anybody help. All of a sudden AutoCad has developed the following, without selecting anything, when I left click on drawing, a cross is placed on drawing, which cannot be removed by erase command, if however I pan or zoom crosses disappear. Thanks in advance Quote
girrrrrrr2 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 I have had that problem before, and the only advice I can offer you is that it is your crosshairs that are leaving the mark on your modelspace. The problem usually is caused by either your graphics card, or the whole computer being just a little slow for the program... Best of luck to ya, Gir edit... Or what they said Quote
CyberAngel Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 What you probably have are "blips," which appear when you have snap modes on and your cursor gets near a snap point. It's especially eerie when you have the Center snap on and a lot of arcs/circles in your drawing. To get rid of them, set the system variable BLIPMODE to 0, or use the command BLIPMODE to turn them off. They are temporary, which is why they disappear when the screen is redrawn (you can also use the REDRAW command). Quote
Big G Posted September 9, 2010 Author Posted September 9, 2010 Thanks, turning off Blimp mode sorted that, what I should have added is that when I am in 3D wireframe just moving the mouse fills screen with large crosses. Quote
