Features being mirrored was not mirrored properly.

Hi Guys,

 

I have a problem encountered while invoking mirror command on an .ipt file. Steps done.

 

1. Open attached file (.ipt)

2. Invoke Pattern "Mirror" and select; Extrusion2, Extrusion3, Extrusion4, Extrusion5, Extrusion6, Extrusion7.

3. Select "Work Plane1" as Mirror Plane, click OK

 

Noticed the mirrored feature selected! The 2 dark feature was not properly mirrored. It is showing 1 object.

 

Can anybody help me on this. I have attached a zip file and jpg for reference.

Those are solid bodies - mirror as solids rather than as features. (see mirror dialog box)

What is the purpose of Workplane1? Isn't it a duplication of the XZ Plane?
