BlackBox Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 This task is far beneath the order of manifesting thought into a living universe, so I'll take a crack at it... Simply use the ._open command, then change the "Files of type" to DXF. Another option would be to use the ._insert command. Hope this helps! Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I don't know what you're doing wrong but I just tested the DXFOUT and DXFIN commands using AutoCAD 2011 and when I checked what I brought into my new drawing the text was not exploded and neither were any of the polylines. Quote
BlackBox Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 ReMark - DXFOUT & DXFIN, I forgot about them! Great suggestion(s). Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 OH! DWF to DWG!! Now that's a horse of a different color. Why didn't you say so in the first place? LOL Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 I probably know more old commands than I do new commands. I got to get with the times. LOL Quote
ReMark Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 What software are you using to do the conversion now? You do realize that in most cases a drawing converted from DWF to DWG will not be fully recoverable and some information may be lost? Is there really a need to work with the entities the DWF file contains? Why not use the -DWFATTACH command and attach the file as an underlay? Quote
