Rotate part (Inventor)

Hello,

 

I am a new user of Autodesk Inventor product.

I already know many commands but.... could someone help me how can I rotate part at angle? ViewCube allowes to rotate only at fixed angle. I simply need my detail to be in horisontal positin.

If you click in the center of the cube does it straighten it out for you?

If you are talking about in the drawing here are the steps and pics included.

 

Right click the view, select rotate.

Make sure that Horizontal is selected and also edge and which direction you want to rotate it.

You can also rotate at an absolute angle or a relative angle, that can be changed where edge is located.

If you are changing by edge, select the line that you want to be horizontal and it will rotate the part so that line is horizontal.

Try holding down the Shift key, then clicking the center mouse button. move the mouse to rotate the part. Double-click the center mouse button to fill the project in screen.
