NBC Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 The only thing I can find without any programming technique is that the minimum length of the 'tail' is the same as the length of the arrow itself Quote
blueshake Posted September 23, 2010 Author Posted September 23, 2010 @NBC if "using" programming, witch variable should I set??? (command "whichvariable" value) thanks. Quote
NBC Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I personally do not know the answer. Hopefully somebody on here will though, as it is something I have often wondered. Quote
Da Mac Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 there are a few options avaiable to you but it would depend on what information you actually require. if you look in the dimension settings standards for your dimension style you can suppress these lines and arrows or you can allow certain perramiters to allow only if the text will not fit to not allow the arrows and the lines you are looking at to be shown outside the dimension line. if i could post a picture of a screen shot i would but i dont have the abilty to post pictures yet. Da Mac Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 @da machi, you can use outside Image host upload your picture in this site http://photobucket.com/ then post the website of the picture your want to show here i would but since i have been demoted from my office job i dont have access to autocad at the moment as soon as i get back in the office i will link it for you although by then you may have fount the answer. all i can say is just take a look at all the options available to you when setting up a dimension style and this should solve your problem the options are on one of the last tabs in dimensions styles Quote
