AutoCAD 2004? Not sure how well that program handles PDF files. I'm assuming that what you would be creating when you say "...which I can scan". Am I correct?

You may have to resort to using the IMAGEATTACH command but then you'll have to use something other than a PDF file. I think BMP. JPG and PNG are on the list. Not really sure though that this is going to do it for you though. Your best bet using 2004 may well be to redraw the floor plan.

I agree with ReMark. You will need to attach the image to the drawing. Scale it to full size and redraw it (trace over the lines). Use the scale command with the reference option to scale it.

if it possible in any other version above then 2004 if possible then guide me

No, you cannot convert jpg images into dwg in any version of Autocad.

There are ways to convert jpg to dwg, using other programs. This has been discussed many times, just search the forum.

There are some Raster to CAD conversion programs out there. You spend a lot of time cleaning up the mess that these programs try to recreate. It would be easier and faster just to trace over the image and make it accurate the first time.

You could print to *.pdf then convert the *.pdf to a *.dxf file.

Makes a mess but, you could then clean up the junque and save as a *.dwg file.
