You're looking for something similar to this?

Perhaps this will be more to your liking.

I created my center post using a circle and the Press/Pull command.

Next, I created a helix to wrap the post.

Then I created my blade profile using the Rectangle command.

Finally, I used the Sweep command with the Base Point option. My base point was the lower right-hand corner of the rectangle.

Hope this helps you Wilbri. Nice to see you back.

Many thanks for your reply REMARK

It's good to be back.

As usual you have provided just what I am looking for.:)

Obviously this has to do with our similar vintage and background.

I did do a C.T. search prior to posting my request.

I also have a drawing of the screw which was developed in 2-D but am unable to find a means of attaching it.

Maybe you could help me with this as I would like to utilize the facility in future?

You can upload and attach a drawing or an image by clicking on the Go Advanced button next to the Post Quick Reply button. At the next screen scroll down until you see the section called Additional Options and click on the Manage Attachments button. With me so far? Good.

After clicking on the button a separate window will open. This is called the File Upload Manager. In the upper right hand corner of this window there should be a green circle with a white "+" (plus sign) in it labeled Add Files. Click on it. A small window will appear with a button labeled Select Files. Click on it. Now find and upload your file(s). The file(s) you select will then appear under the heading Attachments. Assuming all goes well click on the Insert Inline button and the file will be inserted into your post. Add the minimum required text then click on the Save button and that's it. A sample of an attached text jpg appears below. I have no idea what it says!
