CADWorx auto weld gaps?

I've got a scenario where i want to count welds using the CADWorx BOM which isn't an issue.

the issue is, i want the welds to place automatically as i'm piping. i've messed with the autoweldgap variables and "autoweld" but it will not put them in automatically.

getting the BOM to count welds works great (telling me i have "X" amount of 30" welds. etc.) but thats only while placing the welds manually.

I'm trying to show one of our PMs that (for bid/cost stuff) we can get CADWorx to count welds and show them on the BOM. but i really want the welds to be "auto". any thoughts?

or is "autoweld" just a function for ISOGen?
