Robert J Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 Is there a way to reverse the tab order of the open drawings when multiple drawings are open or is there a built in function that will display drawing tabs for the current open drawings? In an older version of CAD I remember installing a third party app that allowed/showed a tab for each open drawings. Thanks, Robert J Quote
Tiger Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 DWGMan is a 3rd party app that display tabs. Don't know if you can rearrange the tabs though, don't have it anymore since Quick View Drawings came along. And the bigger question is, why would you want to rearrange the tabs? Quote
Robert J Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 When I open a set of drawing, say for example there are 15 drawings and I start to edit them the tab order is from 15 to 14 to 13... but I edit starting with drawing 1 and then go to 2... Hope that helps clear it up Thanks Edit..DWGMan did what I needed. Thank you. Quote
JPlanera Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 I agree with Tiger, unless there is a specific reason for the drawings to be edited in order, why rearrange the tabs?? In any event, using Quick View, for some reason if you open up multiple drawings at once, AutoCAD mixes up the tabs... But if you open them up one at a time in the orde you want, the tabs will be however you want Quote
irneb Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 The only way I know of "rearanging" them is to modify the way you selected them when opening. See this thread from post 99 onwards: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=113381 Quote
