simo2006 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I am trying to draw 3D in AutoCAD LT. What to do? Quote
ReMark Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 LT is more like 2.5D not true 3D. You'll be limited in what you can actually do. What is it that you are trying to draw? By the way, you should have posted this as a separate question and not tack it onto another thread. You'll get more responses that way. Welcome to the forum. Have a sparkling day. Quote
ReMark Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 simo2006: I'd also suggest taking a look at the CADTutor AutoCAD FAQ section. Look under Getting Started > Hardware/Software Selection. There is a topic regarding the differences between the full AutoCAD and LT that might be of some interest to you. Quote
simo2006 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 I am good in 2D but not 3D I am trying to draw cylinder tnx for your reply Quote
ReMark Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 A cylinder requires height. I don't think LT has an EXTRUDE command so the only other option would be THICKNESS. Does it have that command? I'm just guessing here as I'm away from the office today where I do have a copy of LT that hasn't been used in quite a while. Quote
