I've been having this problems for a few weeks now but haven't been able to solve them. I'm running AutoCAD 2009 in Windows XP on a intel Core 2 duo cpu P8600 @ 2.40 GHz with 1.89 Ram. Its a company laptop though.

In anycase I'll explain the problem I've been having more clearly.

so in the Model tab everytime my cursor passes a line or what ever object is there the mouse cursor stops for a second orso.

Since I'm drawing elektrical schematics you can imagine how annoying this can get.

Hoping someone will know the solution for this nervewrecking problem

Greetz,

Tim

It sounds like selection preview is taxing your system. Try setting "selectionpreview" to "0".
