Yakumo Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I've been having this problems for a few weeks now but haven't been able to solve them. I'm running AutoCAD 2009 in Windows XP on a intel Core 2 duo cpu P8600 @ 2.40 GHz with 1.89 Ram. Its a company laptop though. In anycase I'll explain the problem I've been having more clearly. so in the Model tab everytime my cursor passes a line or what ever object is there the mouse cursor stops for a second orso. Since I'm drawing elektrical schematics you can imagine how annoying this can get. Hoping someone will know the solution for this nervewrecking problem Greetz, Tim Quote
bobsy852 Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I don't know if this applies to AutoCAD 2009, but i had this problem (or what sounds like this same problem) on my 2010 machine, check my thread here for the solution to my issue. Like I said, not 100% it will be the same in 2009: LINK: http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?51105-2010-CAD-slow-mouse-pointer Quote
RobDraw Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 It sounds like selection preview is taxing your system. Try setting "selectionpreview" to "0". Quote
Yakumo Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 seems te selectionpreview was allready set on "0" so that couldn't have been it. as for bobsy's problem it doesn't seem its the same as mine... i tried the stuff that solved ur problem but still no change... tnx anyway for the fast replies.
