Autocad download

I cant seem to get AutoCAD 2011 up and running. iv downloaded from Autodesk but when i run the program it says 'not reconised' . Is there anyone facing the same problem? or can someone help me?

What do you mean by, "when I run the program..."?

Did you get it installed?

If running Vista or Windows 7 did you turn off UAC before install?

Did you download the correct version? There is a 32-bit and 64-bit version. What version of windows are you running and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

Are you sure you downloaded the 64-bit version? How fast is your connection speed? In my experience if it takes more than 3-4 hours the download is corrupt. Is it just 1 exe download or is there also an rar download? If there is an rar - do not try to unzip it. The exe is self-extracting and will extract the rar. Post a screen shot of the exact error message.

it took over 3-4 hours to download i saved it, then a install message came up so i pressd ok, then afta the install it comes up with the error message then it slows my computer down real slow:(
