vort3x Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Hello, I'm using Autocad 2008. Tried 2009, also have the same problem with opacity. When I want to change the opacity of the 3d object, well.. it's not right. Instead of being clearly transparent, as it should be, it's full of dots and crosess.. For example if I put a texture on the 3d object, and change opacity just 1 percent, it changes to that crappy mode, and doesn't reflect the texture.. I used autocad 2006-2010, newer had that problem before. Maybe somebody had the same problem ? Is there any settings to change it to normal way? There as an image above. Quote
vort3x Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Two more images to illustrate the problem better Quote

fahim108 Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Type in 3DCONFIG and hit Manual Tune. Under the Transparency quality, select High if you wish a solid fill transparency. By default, AutoCAD keeps it at the Medium level. Note that increasing the transparency quality would significantly reduce your system performance; you better have a powerful Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) before you proceed... The Enable Hardware Acceleration check-box is available only when your system has a compatible GPU installed. Transparency quality LOW - Transparency quality MEDIUM - Transparency quality HIGH - Transparency quality HIGH (with Hardware Acceleration enabled) - Peace! Quote
ReMark Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Nicely illustrated fahim (not fashim!). A few images are worth 10,000 words. Quote
