coombsie11 Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Hi.. Have not used cad for along time and have some old macros from 2000LT that made life a bit easier. Now using 2008 full version and love it. But would love it even more if I could get this to work. The macro was a repeater and inserted a block of text and would prompt you for a number input. Once a number was typed the resulting text had a CH prefix. Then it was ready to go again. This was all contained in a single button. *^C^C-style;STANDARD;romans.shx;0.13;0.8;;N;N;N;-i;ch100;none;\;;;select;l;;x;l;setenv;CH;\_change;l;;;;;;CH $M=$(getenv,CH); Doesnt seem to like the setenv bit?? Please help. A. Quote
GhostRider Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 There's probably 100's of ways to accomplish what you are after, I don't understand some of the commands in that macro, LT handles it a little different. (and I am not an expert) There is a Lisp posted here on the forum called numbering with sevral options for integers and text that will probably do what you want . I found it in this thread, with a few other options, look at the last post. http://www.cadtutor.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11114 Quote
