ziofel Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Hello, is there a way in Autocad 2008 that is similar to Revit where you can create a custom wall with "gypsym - wood - insulation - siding" to act as one line would so that in the end I would create a 1/2" drywall layer then a 3 1/2" 2x4 layer then a 1" insulation layer and finally a 1/2" vinyl siding layer. So four lines at specific distances in one command. Thanks Raff Quote
lpseifert Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 You could set up a Multiline Style (_mlstyle command) for use with Multiline (_mline command). Quote
ziofel Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 That works but is there a way to set the order of the lines? Can it also be a line and not a polyline? Quote

ziofel Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 What about closing the poly? It doesn't seem to close. Is there a way to set the order of the lines? Quote
BIGAL Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Theres lot of other stuff here about drawing walls search for it in last couple of weeks. In terms of draw order using a lisp the walls can be drawn in different layers with set offsets. The only criteria is that you must draw so you know which side is the inside. We did things like convert multiple rectangs (rooms) or a shape to walls and would display a message to work clockwise so inside was known. Quote
