jbird68 Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 I have a drawing where I dimensioned the diameter on the right side view. I would like to have the arrows on the outside of the diameter with now line between them. Is there a way to toggle the arrows to be inside or outside? I can turn arrows off and on, but not make them inside or outside. I just don't like the lines going through the center of my part. Any help would be great. See drawing. Quote
JPlanera Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 (edited) There is an option in the Right Click Menu to Flip Arrow... Im not sure about omitting that middle line though, you might be stuck with it. EDIT: In Dimstyle manager under the Fit tab-Fit options, check the option Both Text and Arrows.. Just make sure the style you change is the style given to that dimension... Then flip the arrows!! problem solved Edited October 15, 2010 by JPlanera FIX Quote
jbird68 Posted October 15, 2010 Author Posted October 15, 2010 I don't have a right-click menu. Was that added after AutoCAD 2004? Quote
JPlanera Posted October 15, 2010 Posted October 15, 2010 You should, the flip arrow option might not be there now that i think about it in 2004... Confirm you have these settings. type - OPTIONS click on - User Preferences click on - Right-click Customization... check the box - Turn on time-sensitive right click check the "Shortcut Menu" under Edit Mode Apply and close Now when you highlite a dimension, click the right mouse button... iIf that doesnt work try this command AIDIMFLIPARROW Quote
