How do you print a file in color

Hello. I am new to this forum and using AutoCad. I am trying to help a user who received a .DWG file to print it in color. We can only print it in b&w. The application we are using is DWG TrueView 2010. Can someone tell me how to print this file in color? Thanks.

Generally speaking, you need to select the correct plot style table.

Any objects in the drawing that are assigned a truecolor will always plot in color, but objects with an ACI color are generally controlled by the plot style.

When you go to Plot, a plot dialogue box opens up. In the very bottom right hand side, there is a sideways pointing arrow. Press this to reveal more options. At the top of this extra information, you can set to print in colour.

Thanks to both of you. Expanding to see the additional menu and changing the plot style table to none did the trick

None is not a good plot style to use, you would be better of with acad.ctb.

When you choose a plot style there is a little button to the right if you click it you will get all the colour settings, the acad.ctb is set to use object colour for all colours.

We have colours 1-8 set to black and the rest up to 252 set to object colour you can save your own pen settings also you can define thicknes of the plotted line

Why? In the situation here, the OP will get the same result.
